Fine Studio Furniture By Commission
We may begin with a drawing, a picture, or an actual existing plan. We listen to the client to determine their vision and desires. We can work from their drawing, a photo or an actual plan. Often, we develop a theme that incorporates our own artistic viewpoint in keeping with the appreciation of the uniqueness and character in each piece.
We develop the plan, a labor and materials assessment, and finally a clearly laid-out written estimate with all drawings, photos, and specifications explained in detail. We remain in contact with the customer to confer on any changes that may be necessary, and always communicate with them in advance, if the need to adjust the plan or cost arises.
Our furniture is designed and crafted on a commission basis. Our work has been featured in many publications including "The Custom Furniture Sourcebook, A Guide to 125 Craftsman" (Tauton Press), "The New York Times," "Woodshop News," and "High Country Magazine."
